When I went: 20 April 2018
Shows seen there: Much Ado About Nothing (Kingston)
Size: Fairly small
Typical price: Fairly cheap – good tickets around £45
Special points: Cafe / bar area, Kingston location
Comments:
The Rose Theatre in Kingston is only around 10 years old, so doesn’t have quite as bad a problem with lack of ladies’ toilets as in the older West End theatres, and also has a nice extensive cafe / bar area and is a very short walk from the Kingston shops.
As the theatre is quite small, you would probably get a good view from most seats. You can sit right at the front of the stalls and practically be on the stage (cushioned seats are provided in this area).
