When I went: 16 March 2013 and 30 December 2015
Shows seen there: The Book of Mormon
Size: Fairly big
Typical price: Varied (upper circle tickets from around £30 up to premium stalls tickets around £100)
Special points: Proximity to Piccadilly Circus / Soho restaurants
Where to eat beforehand: Le Relais de Venise, Gauthier Soho
Comments:
The Prince of Wales is a fairly big, although not huge, theatre right in the heart of Piccadilly Circus, just a few minutes’ walk from Leicester Square, which has hosted musicals such as Rent, Let it Be, South Pacific, and most recently The Book of Mormon. It has a slightly more low-key feel than some of the bigger theatres and benefits from its proximity to lots of pre-theatre dining options.
