When I went: 11 August 2011, 6 June 2017
Shows seen there: Much Ado about Nothing, Don Juan in Soho
Size: Fairly big
Typical price: Various (from around £30 to around £95 depending on placing of seats)
Special points: Shakespeare specialist
Where to eat beforehand: Le Relais de Venise, Gauthier Soho, J Sheekey
Comments:
Wyndham’s has become something of a Shakespeare specialist, having hosted productions of Much Ado about Nothing, Twelfth Night and Hamlet in recent years. It tends to put on plays rather than musicals and as such can sometimes have a slightly more ‘serious theatre’ feel.
The stalls are fairly raked and have a decent amount of legroom.
